Gee let me guess … was it the Norfolk Orchestra or a rap concert?

Unfortunate situation? Absolutely. This man was attending a “rap concert and party”. This type of music is well-known to promote and provoke violence. He purchased a ticket so presumably he was into rap music and was willing to accept the kinds of people and behaviors it attracts. He was shot between 5-10 times by one of his own people. (African American). How shocking that a gun was being carried by the perp. How shocking that the perp had no regard for human life. Enter the grieving mother.

She and her honorable attorney theorized the theatre had a duty to protect patrons. But what level of security is reasonable? Nobody can keep an animal from perpetrating a crime like this. But…in our pathetically flawed legal system “someone must always pay”.
