This building should have been razed shortly after 9/11. A little more toxic dust wouldn’t have made a difference. Instead, it stands as a pariah and pitiful remimder of that day. Why is it still here 9 years later? Why did they send firefighters up when nothing was at risk? Just because the city has immunity and can’t be prosecuted is no reason to sue others. The fire department failed in it’s responsibilities to inspect this hulk. That’s the proximate cause of death.
