This is crazy. it’s one of those 50/50 at fault kind of things. The coach should have know that the student wasn’t capable of proper tackling techniques….But on the other hand I agree there needs to be some sense of personal responsibility. I also feel bad for the kid since he has to spend the rest of his life as a quadriplegic as the result of trying to play a sport he enjoyed.
That is definately incentive for schools to get rid of their sports programs. I feel really bad for this kid; however, there should be a bit of personal responsibility…I know pipe dream.
