Parents are supposed to be the first line of safety and support for their children. Didn’t they think to check out the toy box with a critical eye to safety before buying it? Where were the parents after the lid came down on their child? Sounds like the parents are negligent and are looking to pin at least some of their incompetencies on the toy box merchant and manufacturer.
