The commissioner of DMV R. Ward claims more inspectors might be needed—–More inspectors are meaningless. Lack of will by DMV management is the problem. We have bus companies with 60% failure rates; we don’t need more inspectors to tell us the top offending companies are putting unsafe buses on the road. News flash — you don’t even need more $$$, all you need is to have the will to act.

The tax payers are paying enough for inspectors that are part of a charade. They take the bus out of service — the company puts it back on the road. That’s a really effective system. If I’m missing something here, feel free to enlighten me at darksideofmotorvehicles@gmail.com.

The dealer and repair fiasco needed State auditors to fix. No bid contracts for retraining took the Courant to fix; corrupt Driving Schools took the Courant to fix. Now our sorry Bus system is being addressed only because of the Courant.

Top DMV management reacts to what’s being exposed in the Press or from outside sources who complain about what really happens. They should be held accountable……Ricci
