I worked at Dunkin Donuts, graveyard shift, when I was a teenager back in the Dark Ages, I mean, early 70’s. Made $1.77 an hour including tips. Actually had a lot of fun on the job, all kinds of people passing through in the wee hours of the morning. Always glad to see the local cops stopping in.

This is a horrible way for this young man to perish.

I had two large cesspools on my family property at the Jersey shore growing up.Now being in the business, I still worry about those holes and whether anyone in 30 years ever closed them properly.

We had a case recently in Portland OR where a man was not answering his phone etc. He fell in an old cesspool in his backyard that had caved in.

    Scary to think about.

Yes, all. Very tragic. Our sympathy to the young man’s family.

    To our friend, Jay:
Please call the township, let them know which/where property is and your serious concern.
You don’t have to give your name or say you once lived there. Just tell them of your concern & then it’s on them to either act or put it on the current property owner to do.
You’ll feel better to get it off your mind
    God bless.

Jay, to say you’re worried about someone not finding a cesspool in New Jersey is like saying you’re worried about someone not finding a needle in a needle store!
