I am all for feeding kids heathy foods and not wanting to give them added hormones or unneccesary additives but they do make excellent organic and natural brands of milk- no hormones or additives -Horizon and Stonybrook Farms come to mind. You might have well attached your kid to the cow’s teat in the barn. Really what are the benefits and do they outweigh the risks?
In Wisconsin, raw milk cannot be sold commercially. This is exactly the reason. Raw milk is very dangerous. I agree moo. You take a serious risk and most healthy adults can handle the results fine but children… People need to do the full research!
Agree. Some parents are simply stupid. There’s an assumption of risk anytime you deviate from generally accepted standards likek HOMOGENIZATION. If these people want to be purists, let them move out to the country and raise their own food.
This is why I love Contributory negligence. Where is the assumption of risk on the part of the parent? I accept some people want all natural foods, but if you are educated enough to make that decision, find a supplier, then you should know the risks.
So, basically one child became sick from the milk and eveyone else became sick because no one in this household washes their hands after they go to the bathroom.
