The only thing this kid is owed is an apology. His name didn’t have to appear on the arrest log for everyone in a small town to know he got busted for being punk. Everyone in the school knew it and told everyone they knew. Plus, he probably won’t be applying for a job anytime soon so there are no damages.
If some states can charge a TWEEN as a registered sex offender for sexting – who gives a fat hair rats grass if a 17 year old, who should know better – have his name out there to let god and all know that he is a loser in the making… “sealed records” or not – do the crime don’t whine and cry foul when you’re ratted out.
