If it was naywhere but Maine, I’d say they were all probably minorities too, giving way for a National Tragedy that Obmaa could make a snide comment about tonight from West Point after he proves once again that America is the idiot for electing him to anything but dog catcher. problem, is that all 6 were offered to post for 16 other jobs! so what was the problem? if they posted, they should have gotten the job. if they did not post, then they should have just quietly found another job. many firms are trying to cut costs and consolidate all the time.
it sounds like they DID apply/post for the openings, but all 6 of them were passed over….and they’re alleging all of the open positions went to younger candidates. It sounds like they may have something here if there were 19 slots and not one of the 6 got one……
Not only were these people old, they were ugly, over weight, and non-productive. Since I couldn’t fire their lazy _sses straight out, I used the back door and played the consolidation ruse. Productivity increased and salary costs went down. Truth is, they’re too lazy to find other work as they haven’t kept current with their skills. Their entitlement attitude threatened to cause their skulls to burst.

I checked back in around 11 and it had been changed to match the story. As someone who has mastered both the fine art of reading, and the consumption of caffeine (thank you Sleepy), I can assure you that my comprehension of the story’s content and my subsequent questioning of IJ’s well-publicized editorial styling (or lack thereof) were completely accurate.
The 6 may have gone quietly into the night, but they got ticked when they learned that illegal aliens received preferential treatment for the posted jobs…..
