i have seen many sheets of that coming off a tractor trailer. i used to be an OTR driver trainer. many vehicles do not give enough clearance on the backside of these vehicles, which does not give them alot of time to react. i am glad they are helping the cdl drivers w/their vehicles…

Great!!! About time!! Penalize those idiots who are too busy to clear off their rear windshield and are then a hazard to everyone else on the road!

One more nail in the coffin for New Jersey’s trucking industry.
    Thanks John

$25 and $75 for each offense – that’s one heck of a deterrent.

Great idea on paper or in a very limited frame of reference. The cost to install and maintain the heat tunnels or chemical de-icing is going to far out weigh the benefit. Another revenue opportunity for New Jersey and following states to offset their loss of tax revenues on the backs of those who are barely surviving the present economy.

This is ABSURD. I guess our taxes aren’t paying enough for the law enforcement to do their jobs!!!
