“Lawmakers want to protect an eliphant farm”?????? What the hell is an elephant farm doing in CT anyway? Is there some “pork spending” attached somewhere? Usually public officials do what’s in the best interest of the public, not themselves. The entire state of CT is a circus with fools like this running the state.

“Usually public officials do what’s in the best interest of the public, not themselves.” I think you have it backwards, bud. I usually agree with you, but not this time.

What’s the first thing that comes to mind when you think Connecticut? ELEPHANTS of course. The farm must be operated by a rich family from India who makes large campaign contributions. I never realized there was such demand for elephants in Connecticut. Aside from the dwindling number of circuses and zoo’s, where’s the market?
