Why should it take SEVEN DUI’s and counting for the court to do something to change these idiot’s behavior. It is apparent they have a chronic drinking problem and either refuse or can’t refrain from DUI. It seems that absent a significant, perceivable consequence, they’ll keep racking up the DUI’s until they maime or kill an innocent victim.

Here’s a suggestion. The 1st DUI carries a 6 month license suspension. The 2nd, a 1 year suspension, and impoundment of the car for the year. The 3rd, a 5 year suspension and impoundment and sale of their vehicle. This should apply to ANY vehicle they’re caught driving.

Maybe then people will start getting serious about not DUI. While this may sound draconian, nothing else is working. Unfortunately, our gutless politicians, lawyers, and judges will never consider a serious solution to the DUI problem.

He was already driving under a suspended license – what good would taking it away do?

There is an antibiotic out which had an unexpected affect on people who consumed alcohol while they were taking the medication – even using an alcohol based rinsing agent – VIOLENT vomiting, nausea, cold sweats and the works – What they need to do is find a dose that isn’t lethal – and put that puppy into a slow releasing implant that they cram under these yahoo’s skin for the 6 months that their license is suspended

    Line em’ up!
