Not surprising. Too many Nut Yorkers are too pre-occupied reading newspapers, listening to I-Pods, or texting instead of watching where they’re going. In case they haven’t noticed, trains can’t have the same tolerances as a swiss watch. To make it more important, it’s dark in the subway and rail tunnels so people have to watch where they’re going for the 2 seconds it takes to exit a train door. Anybody who steps into the gap has only themself to blame.
