“dozens of defendants” I think that says enough right there.

And so we have yet another example of how lawyers can turn a horrible tragic accident into a law suit bonanza worth tens of millions in legal fees.

Think about the Ford settlement a few months ago– the lawyers got tens of millions, and the actual victims got coupons with short expirations for a few hundred dollars off of the purchase of a new vehicle.

Since when did Indemnify The Victims become Pay The Lawyers?

I wonder if the law school professor started off his plan with the line ($176,000,000 – $##,000,000 [legal fees])…

I wonder how much a ticket stub from Great White’s RI concert is going for in Ebay?

    With or without scorch marks?

Let’s just put this tragedy behind us. Real people died in this fire, including a member of Great White. Money won’t bring them back, but at least it will serve as some comfort for the victims and their families, as well as to construct a template from which to distribute the settlement in an equitable manner should a similar case in the future come up.

Probably will be a similar turn out of “attendees” to that concert that I got out to vote in some of our precincts here in MN.
