well, sounds like ‘A’ needs money and we are going to use ‘D’ way to procure and transfer the funds to ‘A’. if i am a taxpayer of NY, i would take this to a referendum and tell the state to stick it! not everyone is insured thru a car insurance or even a homeowner’s policy. many folks don’t even have a renter’s policy. so how are you going to make this an insurance taxation, that is supposedly for all the people for a health reform? as a line item for a budget, i think they are barking up the wrong tree and the hiding it, only makes it more suspicious.

Hear that loud sucking noise? No, it’s not Eliot Spitzer’s date. It’s simply the NY political machine cleaning the streets.

A newly coined term for the practice of using office to fleece the state: Blagging

    And we call Illinois corrupt!

We’re already in the midst of the 2nd Great Northeast Brain Drain. Paterson and the NY Legislature seems hell-bent on chasing out even more people. One of the highest taxed, highest regulated states in the nation with nearly 50% of the budget going to welfare programs for people that don’t work. Great place to freeload, terrible place to be in business.
I propose that the Loud Sucking Noise will be from the vaccuum created by more businesses pulling up their stakes and moving out.

We could use some more businesses out here in Arizona, so hopefully they’ll move here. Plus where else can you get more sun in this Country? Florida=No, California=No, Texas=No. Arizona a whopping YES! Bring your business here and enjoy the sunshine. Plus our economy will now start to pick up because Obama screwed up and took our governor for home land security. What a joke. She took our state surplus and turned it into a deficit and pulled money from illegal immigration. She’ll fit right in with Washington, but Arizona will start booming again.

No… Really! So is the oven in your kitchen but what the heck – I’m couped up in an office all day working for a living (and counting my blessings every day…) Go to an AC vehicle… Into my AC house and if I want to go out – it’s AC Movies, AC Stores, AC Theater, AC Concerts, AC Sporting events… If you don’t mind the hair being burnt off your legs walking from the parking lot it’s perfect ! ! !

Coming from a cold-spot-state it only took about a year or so to get used to it – and now when it’s 70 degrees or below – I’m the first to break out a sweater!

Now.. talk about your Winters! This is why we live in AZ… for all you in the negative temps out there – Come on down! The Weathers Great

Besides – compare my real estate taxes of only 1200 a year with say… the northeast at 4000 a year… I’m stayin put!

I doubt that there is a more descriptive term for what the government is doing to us.
