Family of New Yorker Trampled at Wal-Mart Sues Retailer

    The grieving period sure is short as it didn’t take long for the family to sue.

    Guess this was Black Friday for the attorneys also.

    Waiting for the additional suits from the shoppers who suffered emotional distress for having witnessed the death of the person they trampled.

    Why is this case filed in Bronx County, as opposed to Nassau County (Long Island), where the incident occurred? – If WalMart took the precautions they allege they took, then case should be defensible, but Bronx is a dangerous County. – I guess the pltf. atty wanted to strike while the general public is inflamed about what happened, with the hopes that Walmart would want to settle early to avoid the publicity.

    Wasn’t this guy hired to provide the security? He obviously faile din his job and they ought to file a counter suit against the family to recoup the wages the guy clearly didn’t earn.

    Also, why is it Wal-Mart’s fault and not the animals who did the trampling?
