Typical. Karen Weldin Stewart, who got herself elected Delaware’s new Insurance Commissioner by claiming vast but practically non-existing insurance and general business experience must have picked her fraud guy from the court records. Gordon is certainly not the only person in Delaware with executive and law enforcement experience, just the only one with that experience AND a criminal record.

Typical Delaware politics, the State is full to this type of corruption and no ever one calls them on it. Good old boy stuff. Should be called Delabama!

I know this woman. She fooled Delaware voters into electing her because they don’t do background checks. Her claimed CV would never make it past a private employer’s HR department. Her consulting business that she claims to own doesn’t exist, either. Plus she’s uneducated and not the sharpest knife in the drawer, so we’ll see how that plays out when she takes over the DE Commissioner’s office. Delaware voters get what they deserve.

Stewart is just a front for State Senator Harris McDowell. He’ll run the Commissioner’s office through her. McDowell adopted her as his pet and made her his legislative aide not too long ago. That was her first full time job in a lot of years except for the retail sales gigs she had. Real good experience for Insurance Commissioner.
