Reverend Shifflett has to serve a total of four years in prison — not 100 years. He was sentenced to a total of 100 years on 20 felony charges and 12 months on one misdemeanor; however, ninety-six years were suspended on the felony charges and the 12-month misdemeanor sentence was suspended. Prior to sentencing he had already served 107 days. Shifflett also has to make restitution to the commonwealth in the amount of $14,000 and combined restitution of $25,000 to two insurance companies. He will remain on probation until restitution is complete.
