A police officer has settled his retaliation lawsuit against a Pittsburgh suburb for a small fraction of the $2 million he sought.
Pleasant Hills borough officials say their insurance company is paying $52,500 to settle Bryan Frankenfield’s lawsuit.
Frankenfield sued in January, saying the former police chief mistreated him after Frankenfield reported allegations of sexual harassment and mishandling of evidence by other officers.
Frankenfield’s attorney isn’t commenting. Borough officials say they did nothing wrong and are calling the suit an “overambitious” claim by a “disgruntled” employee.
