We hear so often about bogus settlements and sympathy awards. It gives me just a tiny little bit of hope when I see an article like this.

Sometimes the right party wins the case and the courts base the ruling on common sense.

Way to go New Jersey Supreme Court.

The school went above and beyond by sending a letter to this obviously emotionally stunted individual. From what I read in teh article the women were not touched by the man and he was not in a porition of authority over them. The school even advised to seek help (if needed) from the local police.

    Good for the courts! Excellent!

I have to agree. Based on the article, it doesn’t sound like there was any sexual overtures – just a lonely man looking for company. At most, the incident probably could have been classified as just harassment (depending on the lengths the man took to ask for dates).

It is refreshing to see a ruling like this. Too bad we don’t see them more often.

These two self-righteous skanks must have skipped the class on “forgiveness and compasssion” since they’ve been trying to milk this bogus suit since 2003. I agree w/all, this is a great ruling. I can remember when harass was two words.

    Uh, no, 1st century:

    1 Timothy 2:11-12-
A woman should learn in quietness and full submission. I do not permit a woman to teach or to have authority over a man; she must be silent.

Your problem’s with the apostle, not me.
