WAIT! how long can you wait? afterall, it was not up to the paint company to repaint or remove the old paint. each landlord or owner should know that if they paint they used has lead in it. kids from that era have all grown up. so the new kids on the block? who’s responsible? the parents of those children for not addressing the issue from day one. allowing their kids to eat the paint. the landlords should have removed and repainted chipped paint and old paint from the apartments. afterall, we don’t leave paint up after that many years. we either put up a new coat, if so, we would have prepped the old for the new coat. that would have either been removed old paint or sanded the old paint. again, we think big daddy has to pay, when in fact it’s been too long.
