“It’s part of a report on teen driving safety and comes nearly a year after Corzine was nearly killed in an April 12 car accident in which he wasn’t wearing a seat belt in violation of state law.
Corzine, who was a front-seat passenger in the state police-driven sport utility vehicle that crashed along the Garden State Parkway, voluntarily paid the $46 fine and filmed a public service announcement advocating seat belt usage.
”
so, was the nearly kill while riding in the police car or his own family/friends car?
now, funny thing is that a kid was riding in a veh and had a seatbelt on and was nearly killed from the force of the seatbelt restraining her into the seat. yet, from the incident – if it had not been for the seatbelt, she might have died anyways. the childs father sued the car manufacturer. yet, he did not attempt to sue the driver of the vehicle. in today’s society i am appalled they went after the car manufacturer, when it was the driver of the car that cause the incident to placed their child in danger – not the seatbelt!
