What are the Maine(iacs) going to suggest next? That wild animals don’t bite?Snowmobiling isn’t fun and thrilling unless you speed. Why do you think they build them to go 100mph? If you drive slow you’re a hazard and are at risk. At least these idiots are only killing themselves and not causing “collateral damage” through their stupidity. I think it’s irresponsible for the state to put Wardens on those trails where they could be killed by these maniacs.

Good comment, Dread. Wonder if they figured out that more people plus more speed plus more of everything else equates to more injuries/fatalities, etc.?

They make autos to travel up to 120 miles an hour but we don’t allow people to drive that fast on the highways so why would we allow snowmobiles to travel 100 miles an hour on the trails. Safety is the key and most important to themselves and others. Others shouldn’t be subject to idiots.
