So let me understand this, and I am not implying that I am well-versed about the effects of lead paint…but because Mr. Justice can’t read past a first-grade level he gets $5.7m??? Could it have been that he hung out on the corner with his buddies every day when he lived in public housing, instead of going to school (which is a major problem in Baltimore City)???
I am dumb-founded. I need to find something from my past to blame something on so I can go to court and hit the lottery! If anyone has some suggestions, I’d love to hear them.

Anyone know the graduation rate for Baltimore City High Schools? Anyone care to guess how many of those few graduates can read and write? Must be the lead paint!

Look at the bright side… The 3.4 million or so that he’ll actually get will probably be spend in a year which will help the economy. Of course then he’ll be backon the governments apron strings and we’ll be paying for him again!

Exposure to lead paint isn’t the determining factor; it’s the level of it in your blood. Also, it’s usually young children who are affected and it manifests well before age 23. I thing demographics were a factor in this nonsensical verdict. Inner city Baltimore is not only economically depressed, it’s not very diverse. Just facts people, I don’t want to hear racism.

Thanks for looking into the lead paint effects…glad the judicial system did their due-diligence. You’re correct on all counts – facts are facts! Not disputable and not racist…

Look at the “dark side”. This idiot will live better than we will for at least a year. If he can’t read his folks will probably hire some scheister lawyer to juke him out of his money. Then it will go “up their nose”. No positive economic impact from that.

    To Joe and Scott

There are plenty of meth addicts down here so quit with racist statement. It was probably you two fools that voted Bush in and now look at “No Child Left Behind”. Where has it gotten us? NOWHERE!!! Plenty of people stand on corners with nothing to do. Look at some of us in nice office buildings spewing racist statements on a suuposedly professional insurance website.

    IDIOTS!

This has nothing to do with politics, so don’t even go there. Secondly, you are assuming race…not a word has been said about Mr. Justice’s color. So, who’s the idiot? And who’s spewing what? I bet you were exposed to lead paint when you were young, weren’t you? I can tell from your spelling! You could make a fortune!

you are the one who implied race, any adult who cant read has other issues. And he certainly didnt fall into the no child left behind category unless, of course, he just graduated from elementary school.
You must be new to insurance or just someone with no sense of personal responsibility.
