More bureaucratic B.S. A police dog should have the same status as a seeing eye dog. They’re considered valuable enough to treated as “officers” so what’s the big deal. I’d be more concerned with a cop carrying a Glock.
If the dog was obtained, trained and owned by the county, why would thier insurer not respond even if off duty? Perhaps the dog’s name was “Glock”…or “Smith & Wesson” or …?
