If the news had actually bothered to get the facts and dispatch protocols they would know that the dispatchers did their jobs, the firemen did their jobs and it was a bad fire that went from bad to worse in a matter of seconds. It happens and its unfortunate. Stop trying to place blame where it isnt deserved.

Hold up a minute. The article simply reported the criticisms of Uniformed Firefighters Association trustee Stephen Humenesky. Mr. Humenesky is the one placing blame, not the reporters.

Humensky is an idiot and his remarks are subjective and irresponsible. If this woman was “healthy, strong, and engergetic”, awake and sitting at a dining room table, why couldn’t she make it out of the building from a first floor apartment? Even at her advanced age she should have been able to get out unless the fire spread so quickly it was impossible. It’s not the firefighters problem to anticipate people living in a combat zone where they have to have bars on their windows to survive.

Could it be an UNinformed Firefighters Assn. trustee rather than Uniformed …?
