Sad commentary on the state of Pennsylvania when it puts people’s lives at risk to save a lousy $800,000. As usual, it’s the law-abiding, tax-paying citizens who get boned everytime some governmental agency wants to patch it’s budget.
I agree, Dread. People will not become more responsible just because life guards are not there. It will just increase the number of deaths. I guess the rule is, don’t go to the beach if you want to live.
