Nobody has used lead paint since the late 1960’s. Why are the courts allowing this issue to remain a cancer in the insurance community. The amount of money that has been wasted investigating, litigating, remediating, and settling lead claims must be mind boggling. It’s time to move on and start focusing resources on the present and future instead of living in the past.

Come on now… you know why. The good doers what all traces of lead paint removed and the easiest way to do this is to past the cost on to someone else. Great plan except that the someone else is all of us!

PS – Having grown up with lead paint everywhere (including my crib), I guess I’m lucky to be alive
