What yonder light breaks anew – tis fair and gentle M’dam O’Sha. Methought she was perchance no less than a beacon of sanity in dangerous climes, nay light creating dappled pathways to safety and security found twixt her twin cousins.

No lesser lady she that couldst coax proper actions from man and boy, in grappling loads far beyond mortal capacity. Oh my head doth spin and gybe in pressed hopes that she may share her world-ken with those in need of gentle guide.

How shall she save thee? Let her count her ways, and her aways, as she bows lowly, passing kind words to more local masters of The Woods. These brave landsmen must needs give fruits of wisdom both innate and granted by passing years to those who are to learn in the ways of The Woods.

And perchance with guile and wit, they in turn shall grow as acorn to oak, and shelter new green in turn.

As a lover of Shakespeare, I applaud and bow to thy talents.

Isn’t Yale a college for the elite and superior minds. Go figure!

Fair Belle, a name by which peacocks flower in color, and whose warmth is barely meeted by the golden orb above, I thank thee heartily for cajoling a graying glimmer such as I.

In truth, I studied how to shape boards ere I trod upon them, and oft told were the stories of life and limb being torn asunder by rotating devices turned by Magick, connected to the very walls by snakelike tubes filled with copper.

I had seen with mine eyes the danger of flying shards ejected by such beasts, impaling the wretched rabble attempting to catch The Wood from maws more horrible and furious than a pack of she-wolves protecting their cubs.

And of those whose gentle visages were made awry by the fall from grace whilst arranging Infernal Illimination from false heavens, oer the crowd. Methinks these false suns were breathed life by the same Magick as the buzz-bees whose intent was to slice and shorten The Woods, with intent diabolical.

What’s wrong with this picture? Pierre-Andre Salim, a 26 year old drama student from Indonesia is at Yale working on sets. This guy would have been out of high school (assuming he even went to one in Indonesia)for 8 years. He was still un-employed and not earning any money but attends a prestigious American university. It would be interesting to know how he was paying for his education. I’m sure that as we speak some slime bag attorney is looking up his family in Indonesia and offering to represent them in a wrongful death suit against the university. Come to America……the land of money for everyone.

Alas and Alack, I am but humbled by your eloquent speech and superior wit, but lack the ability to respond in kind.
And on that note I must sadly away. Tis sad–for parting is such sweet sorrow.

Here in Colorado, we had an accident involving 9 students falling 7 feet on a high school set. Theater building standards are haphazard and not up to code. They’re building platforms with 24″ centers that won’t support enough weight. Stagecraft students should be learning safety as part of the curriculum.
