Leave it to the politicians to put a favorable “spin” on a continuing problem. My son was (past tense) a general surgeon in Philadelphia. He was forced to leave the state 5 years ago because malpractice insurance cost him $80,000/year and he never had a suit filed against him. He and scores of other medical professionals have already left the state. Now the pols are boasting of what a great job they’ve done. The underlying problem is that even if a suit has no merit and is dismissed, the insurance company must still incur defense costs, and the incident becomes part of the physicians record without qualification is had no merit.

Gov. Rendell must have been abducted by aliens.

Has he even bothered to talk to the doctors in PA and be informed on some of the fraud that is conducted in his state.

I wish politicians would stop making these
    ignorant sound bite statements.

I challenge him to really get involved if he wants to fix the problem and truly make
PA a success. However, being a trial lawyer
puppet I bet Trumps wealth he will not.
