I attended this hearing-Dr. Hartwig presented a completely one-sided argument supporting the need to increase premiums in coastal areas. This was a public hearing but only the “invited” were allowed to give testimoy. Members of the public could not testify but were grudginly allowed to ask questions by MA Rep (D) Ronald Mariano aka Ronald Moneyiano. Moneyiano is the nickname bestowed on him for the amount of money contributed by insurance industry insiders to his campaign and for the amount of money he raises for the industry through the legistlation he sponsors and pushes to pass. Ronald Moneyiano is a real rain maker for the industry. Ronald Moneyiano, not John Golumbeski, should’ve been named Boston Insurance Professional of the year.
