People – get some proof you were harmed by this before getting a lawyer. Just because there was smoke doesn’t mean you were exposed to enough bad-nasties to make you sick.

    um…um…

funny how they are now suing for exposure due to the tower fm 9/11 and yet, they shud be suing the terrorists…why shud uncle sam pay for that exposure? why shud the city of ny, pay for that exposure? again, just a lot of money hungry folks, and i hope that the judges throw those cases out of court…

Any neighbor has the right to be worried and should be worried. In fact, the Government appears to be worried too as is evident by the “hundreds of air samples from a dozen monitors posted around the building before, during and after the fire”. And those test “haven’t shown contamination that exceeds federal limits”. And “More than 300 tests for asbestos have been negative, according to private analysts”. Stop worrying.

If these people had any brains, they’d have moved the afternoon of 9/11/01 never returned. If they stayed there from 9/11/01 until 8/17/07 I doubt there’s anything additional to worry about. Inhaling a few more months of toxic crap isn’t going to make a difference. Some people in lower Manhattan continue to refuse to move, even at their own peril. 9/11/01 happened people……..get real.

but, u wud have to prove exposure cause by that site. if they have these monitors up and nothing shows, then whose to believe? if the local government had in place, then there will be no liability of there are no signs otherwise. it another matter when folks are just looking for reasons to sue for money….

When you pay ridiculous amounts of money in taxes… to the city…. and state…. and federal government, you expect them to do their job…which includes protecting the public… they should be held liable… they failed to protect the people

as been proven, the government can’t protect us all 100% of the time…and therefore shud not be liable for that!…wake up folks…this is a dead end issue…the only fools running are the lawyers whom are getting money for the fools willing to have them pay for services and a lawsuit that will be dismissed…and that leaves the folks empty handed while handing money to the lawyer for even trying the attempt the case.

I wonder how many of those who are worried about “dust exposure” are smokers?

    Just curious.
