The explosion occured at ONE INTERSECTION and did no physical damage to an propery beyone one square block. Why is the SBA throwing out $1.5mm loans to the other boroughs? It’s unlikely that any businesses in the other boroughs were impacted at all. Why are these funds available when people in the NYC area have legitimate needs?

Maybe Spitzer can investigate the SBA in the future for loan rigging in the areas beyond one block from the site and get multimillions back to pay for the more legitmate needs of NYer’s. Just a thought.

It is a good thought. It seems as though NYC is the first to belly up to the trough whenever it can suck money from somewhere. It can’t manage the money it has, but it’s good at sucking more and throwing it away.
