Based on my research of the new transit center in Hyannis, MA the same thing happened – inferior cement. At the transit center this caused pipes to freeze, resulting in a water loss resulting in mold issues…

Put them all in jail!!! How dare they pour 5,000 truckloads of rejected concrete KNOWING that the results could/would be disasterous. Everyone who works in that industry knows what the results of using inferior concrete can be… hold the CEO and Company president accountable and STOP them from qualifying for any future highway contracts… fool me once, shame on you….fool me twice.. then I’m the fool…. good ole’ Massachusetts.

What they did WAS criminal!! So, what do the Feds do, allow them to bid & work on future projects???!!! Is this country getting stupider(?) or what? These guys need to be deported to an island that is sinking within the next few days.

Agree with all. The conduct of the contractor is criminal and should result in jail time, and revocation of his license to do ANY business ANYWHERE in the U.S. As with most contracts where there’s a municipality or state government involved, there’s abuse and fraud because of human garbage who only want to make a quick buck. Let’s bet nobody involed in this “big dig” debacle will lose their job over anything. The problem is, we’re stupid and complacent when it comes to taking action. Governments will continue to squander our hard earned tax dollars with no accountability, then turn around, tell us to bend over, and levy more taxes to pay for their incompetence. When will we wake up and do something?
