Isn’t this the same company tat has brought us lead painted toy trains and kerosene filled wiggling eyeballs for kids.I continue hearing more and more and must wonder where good management is spending their time. Oh well as we all know big does not mean better.

Wal Mart haters of the world unit. We need to go back to the good old days. Whatever that means. I don’t like everything every business does, but buying in large quantities saves me money. I’m all for that. Step on anyone who commits crimes, big or small. I’m also big on people and businesses doing the right thing.

Yet another WalMart example of how they treat their employees… Figures

Hummm… My mom works for Wal-Mart maybe she can get some money too!!! After a bomb scare evacuated the store – they told the employees that they had to go back into the store to look for the bomb or they would be “let go” if they refused.. The management didn’t want to have store shut down for the day and couldn’t wait until the “pros” were called in.

    I say… Mental Anguish!

I’d say she has a good case. A jury would most likely find that some form of extortion- risk your life or lose your job?
Did she go in? Better yet, did the ‘higher up’ that ordered her to go in stand outside and wait to see if there was a bomb?
Can’t say I would have gone in. But I can say that I would have been on the phone with unemployment before the manager finished firing me. I don’t think ‘bomb squad’ is on the list of duties for WalMart employees. I would also think their workers compensation company would LOVE to hear that one.

Isn’t this the same company that told us to BUY AMERICAN and then stocked their stores with imported cheap stuff!? Gotta love the capitalist!

As far as equal pay for equal work, the courts recently chimed in…if you don’t ask for the same pay within 6 months then you can’t ask for back compensation… go figure!
