\”odorless, sweet-tasting antifreeze\”… is this really antifreeze? Who tested that?

Yes, antifreeze is sweet tasting. Just ask any mechanic.

For real, who would test taste this? Maybe she asked her husband before he died if he tasted anything funny in his drink.

If she did do it then they should give her an antifreeze cocktail.

In the second murder trial for the GA woman, Lynn Turner, the sentencing phase included a plea from the killer\’s mother who asked for mercy, citing that Lynn\’s children would be orphans if Lynn was put to death…remember, the Menendez brothers tried to evoke juror sympathy, too, because they were orphans. Well, it worked for Lynn Turner…women like this do deserve to die in the same manner as their victim(s)…antifreeze in Jello.

Do you people live in a vacuum? Anti-freeze is in the news all the time because it is such a dangerous substance due to it\’s sweet taste. Warnings are all over the place to keep children away from it because they can drink it like pop. People put it out in their yards to kill dogs and cats that cannot resist the sugary sweetness. The compound diethylene glycol was even found in imported wine. A few years ago it almost destroyed the Austrian wine industry in a small wine producing town when it was discovered in their bottles [[Millions of gallons of Austrian wine suspected of being laced with diethylene glycol, a component of some kinds of antifreeze, have been removed from stores in Austria and countries around the world, including the United States. [The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms said that 12 brands of wines imported from Austria to the United States had been found to be contaminated with diethylene glycol and that it was advising consumers to drink no Austrian wines until the tests are completed. Page A6.] The substance, which can cause brain and kidney damage, was found to have been added to the wine as a sweetening agent]]

Maybe you should get out more…

I know people have poisoned cats/dogs with antifreeze but did not know that it was because it tasted good. I don\’t handle antifreeze, I leave that to the mechanics so have never bothered to do any research on the subject. I also have never heard of the wine from Austria.

    Thanks for the information.

Sorry AZAZ. Obviously some of us are not as bright as you are. I do know that some dogs will eat their crap so I had not spent a lot of time wondering why one would drink antifreeze. Now that you have educated me I will stop by the library to pick up \”50 ways the poison your lover\”.

A little harsh there, Azaz…don\’t ya think? Do you react that way every time someone doesn\’t know everything you do? I bet you\’re a real treat to be around. I guess we should all feel so lucky since you shared your wealth of knowledge with all of us. You sound like a really person.
