As to realtionship of this article to insurance, guess have not been reading the trade pubs recent onslot of D&O articles, especially third party claims issues. Sounds like a failure to hire suit to me; another high profile case to use in your sales to why do I need this coverage?

Richard Hewitt didn\’t get a \”call back\”. That\’s showbiz. Happens everyday. Get over it. Move on. \”Pride comes before the fall\”, and pursuit of this is the fall. Hewitt\’s suit is merely a flashy attempt at grabbing the spotlight he failed in his \”audition\”. The show is a lure for the prideful (& Donald Trump is no different). Humility should be the lesson for Hewitt, but his prideful pursuit gets in the way.
Big waste of time, but a nice profit maker for all attorneys involved.

Sure Hewitt is a dufus, but so is Trump. I have only see the teasers, but even they disgust me. Maybe he will continue without a lawyer & Trump will have to pay his attorneys to defend it. Hewitt apparently does not realize it is supposed to be \”entertainment\”. Both of them are idiots.
This isn\’t about whether or not you like Trump, poor Mr. Hewitt didn\’t get picked so now it\’s age discrimination? Maybe the shows first impression of Hewitt was right, not impressive. It\’s just a shame that Burnett & Trump have to spend money to defend themselves over a frivilous lawsuit. I hope Trump buries the idiot!
Ever Notice how they never have Ugly people on the show? Maybe all the ugly people who have been rejected for the show should file a law suit about that?
Hmmmmm – millions of people apply….and only about 20 make the show. Sure…Hewett was rejected only b/c of his age. Other than that, he\’s way more qualified the then other million people that applied for the show.
I wonder, did Hewett have to sign a release to even apply for the program? Surely they were smart enough to have the folks who apply to be on the program sign a release that prevents them from filing suit for not getting on the show.

Since he filed the complaint with the EEOC, government lawyers could be pursuing this case, so we all get to pay!
