What a shame….I was born and rasied in the catholic church and was an alter boy.
Our parish never had issues like these.
It is my belief that those in power must have turned a blind eye to this long ago.
It is a shame that all of this pain suffering and money has gone on so long.
I have since studied the history of the church and it is grim. In our part of Ohio they just closed down 6 churches and have padlocked the doors. I do not see the church comming out of this any time soon. Look to God not to people. Man is not perfect even a priest can fail. One of our local presists is on trial for the murder of a Nun 20 some years ago…another first…..from Toledo, Ohio

Judgment day should be interesting for these priest.

With payouts like this, I guess you can expect 2nd & 3rd collections at church this Sunday !!!

I\’m really surprised that the Insurane Company paid anything, since policies normally don\’t pay for intentional acts.
Whether it was the priest or the hirarchy above him that just sent the preist to another church when he got in trouble, you cant say these were not intentional acts.
