Everyone listen up. I invite you all to move to Michigan where you won\’t have to worry about getting wiped out by a hurricane. We are fairly insulated from natural disasters in the Great Lakes State. At most there are a few small tornadoes, much smaller than those in Oaklahoma and Nebraska.
Come one come all… Enjoy the feeling of not having to worry about hurricanes.
Michigan was great while we were there. It\’s okay in my book. Except for the constant snow. That was a bit of an annoyance. Have you read about the hurricane that made its way to, I believe, Detroit, or the Great Lakes storm that looked and acted very much like a hurricane? No real damage to speak of, but still fascinating.
Don\’t always blame the weathermen….forecasters are only as good as mother nature will let them be. She is the one that\’s really in control. Just like when they said Hurricane Rita was going to be a minimal hurricane at best when it made it to the East Coast of Florida, it was the worst hurricane I have experienced during my 14 years in Florida. I will never let my guard down again!!!!
