    They should have carried life insurance.

    The court is treating this like it was a product warantee issue. And the defense is working a variation of planned obsolescence. It makes no sense…. if the defendent was exposed to something that isn\’t going to show up until after the \”warantee\” period, and it\’s going to cause serious harm…. the law and courts should protect the public, not the offender. If they don\’t, nothing will change.

    everyone should have life insurance but no one should have to use it prematurely due to a work place exposure. life insurance would barely pay the medical expenses of such an illness without leaving much for any survivor…and we sell life insurance to protect the survivors.

    hello I just started hearing all about this cancer in ct I grew up in ct my father worked for pratt& whitney also for over 30 years, in middletown and east hartford my dad was near retirement and working hard & he also started acting weird at home talking strangely making no sense, at times , I have many question\’s about all this with the plant and if there\’s anyone out there inct that could e-mail me I\’d really appreciate it my dad was told that he had dementia by the dr\’s at pratt & whitney but i do not think that! especially now hearing now all this about cancer etc.. My Father is now dead
    he will not enjoy his retirement he will not see his twin granddaughter\’s or his grandson that reminds me of him, who is now a young man Im mad and I have lots of questions ???
