It is hard to conceive that the actions of the Virginia state executive director could be considered a “…the mischief of rogue operatives acting without party authorization or knowledge”. At what level would they admit that this wasn’t the action of rogue operatives?
First of all, let me say that I hate it when these replies turn into personal attacks. This is not meant to be a personal atack. I simply want to reply to your statement about the GOP. We each are free to form and to express our own opinions. That is what makes America so great!!
You know, I never heard Clinton admit to any wrong doing, even with the tons of evidence available. Come to think of it, I’ve never seen or heard of any Democratic politician admit to wrong doings, either.
I think, what we are dealing with here is basic human nature. I don’t agree with it; but, I also don’t believe that the GOP has a monopoly on it either.
But just take a look at our society. No one believes they are responsible for their actions, they are always the “victims”. Unfortunately, a vast amount of our society have lost their ethics, integrity, and their honor. This loss crosses all boundary lines of our society, be it politics, race, gender, socio-econmic status, etc. I don’t see how you can make this simply a political issue; it’s just an unfortuante fact of life.
We need to re-instill these “lost” traits or values back into our society, and especially to our youth. We need to work hard and try to strengthen our society for the future. If we don’t, who else will???
In spite of Sandy and SRS’s comments, JR has nailed down the real problem. It’s always difficult to see everything that’s there when you wear blinders.

Will any Republican admit any misdeeds or bad behavior? Haven’t seen it happen yet but then again I haven’t seen h… freeze over either.
