For the past 4 years…The Republican Party has controlled all (Executive, Senate & House) branches of the federal government & they haven’t change the tort laws yet…
Interestingly enough…They blame the Democrats for not getting the legislation past but in reality..They don’t need them to do so..
The problem is that doctors kill almost a many people in a week as the entire Iraq war. Further, Bush tanked the stock market and insurance companies stopped making money. This has driven up all insurance costs.
Its easy to blame Bush, or any other politician for that matter…Junk lawsuits, and defense costs are driving costs – Tort didn’t solve this problem in other states, why would it solve it here? We should all (regardless of party) be trying to help ourselves out of this mess and stop the blame game. Do you all have the answer??
Agreed! Now let’s get the Senators to back the President and make it a reality!We want reform, not socialized medicine here. Let’s support our doctors,otherwise we will be in the midst of a huge crisis.
