This is a perfect example of why an organization SHOULD outsource it’s payroll processing. Payroll company service representatives routinely look for deviations from the norm regarding an individuals pay type, history, etc. The systems also have alarms built-in that signal significant deviations from the norm or slight deviations that are repetitive over time.

This article also shows why it is important that you protect your password from other users of the system, regardless of how much of a “family” the organization promotes.

I am wondering why she only had to pay $12000 in restitution on a $34000 theft. 60 days in prison and 5 years probation does not compensate the victim (employer).

Please don’t be so naive, the United States government has outsourced/contracted with many companies, that have committed theft/overcharged them. Does V.P. Cheney’s company, Haleburton ring a bell? It is absolutely rediculous and ludicrous for anyone to think that outsourcing/contracting is the answer.

Spoken like a true Democratic finger pointer armed with inadequate and unreliable information. Get off it already.

Outsourcing to a third party adds another layer of oversight. Granted, if the employer isn’t diligent then all the oversight in the world won’t help.

Hope you’re not voting for it before you decide to vote against it!

My thoughts parallel the idea of outsourcing payroll. Micah G. you have not the slightest idea what you’re talking about and the outsourcing of payroll’s success would prove this.
