What is everyone complaining about? Insurance companies are running so lean they fail to underwrite. Carriers are writing policies with no idea of what they are insuring. Bottom line is how much premium a carrier can put on the books that day. The agents and smart insureds know this and are abusing the system. Policies are being written with low ball exposures and out right fraud when it comes to classifications. Auditors don’t exist anymore, its just a technicality for carriers. Who wants to spend money on career auditors who know what they are doing? Auditors are just an expense, right? So everyone, keep complaining. When the workers compensation system collapses, then reality will set in. Did anyone mention socialized health care and disability covering “all risk?”

An increase of double digit willr esult in more companies cancelling their W.C. coverage, especially the smaller contractor.

N.Y. needs a major over hauls of it’s legal system. Put a plug in those loopholes. Tell all those wonderful blood sucking attorneys stop picking the pockets of hard working people and don’t be apart to fraud such as spousal liability.

Investigate any questionable claim and keep rates such that business owners can live with

Ubelieveable. New York has the worst business envirnoment in the country and this just worsens the situation. Do we really wonder why business small and large are leaving our state? We need to begin by eliminating the theives committing fraud in our state and thin out the fat beaurocracy in this state. Socialism doesn’t work!

Rarely do most businesses think about conducting work in a safe manner, rather the cheapest manner.Guess what happens! Unnecessary losses. Then when rates increase everyone screams. One can’t have it both ways.
