I have some clients who were adversely affected by the actions of these two brokers; they absconded with premiums in a case invloving a taxi cab company insured by INSCORP. When INSCORP did not receive premium funds from Hurd that the cab company had paid to Hurd because Hurd illegally failed to turn over those premiums to INSCORP, INSCORP denied coverage on one of the taxis. How can I find out what relationship the Hurd Insurance Agency had with INSCORP? Wasn’t Hurd an agent of INSCORP if they collected premiums from insureds for them? I hope someone has some answers, thanks.
