My neighbor broke her arm by falling on her porch. She waited in pain untill the next day to go to work and say she broke her arm there so she could collect comp.Her name is Alice Grass from Islip New York.
I only have been useing computer for 3 weeks. I was injured on my job as a sanitation worker picking up garbage in th 5th worst snow storm in ny history. I only recieved 400 a week for 7 months but I was out of work for 1 year and 9 months and than received TERMANATION LETTER in mail even after pleading for any other job in the richest largest town in the world.even having the social worker from the wc board call on my behalf and also a rep from the labor dept call. I get no wc payments even though I was injured on my job, even though the IME stated I was unable to do my job even though the Independent dr from the ny state retirement fund stated I was permanently IMPAIRED from my job as a sanitation worker, even though I was on the job for 17 years as a sanitation worker, even though I pleaded with my wc attorney, even though I pleaded with the TOWNS attorney I dont get workers comp. payments.After 12 hearings and was told to wait ouside of the hearing room as well as I noticed most other claimants were told the same thing by their reps. The real truth of the matter is that the corruption of the ny workers comp. board is the REAL FRAUD. If not I would be working mowing fields , or working in the parks dept. or animal control or any other posistion in the worlds richest town. Or at least getting Workers Comp. pay until I find other suitable job.Also I developed a stomach ulcer from years of taking ADVILL AND other pain medicine. THANK YOU NY STATE WORKERS COMP.BOARD! ps do the judges take some OATH TO UPHOLD THE LAWS THEY ARE SUPOSED TO UPHOLD!
