I have contacted the department several times when I saw fraud. You know what they did? Absolutely nothing. The fraudsters are still at large and I think they are still doing it. These news articles are for the purpose of making these lousy politicians look good. The reality is the fraud still goes on, and because of it, the hard working, honest doctors and accident victims will pay the price now that the pip law has changed. You want to do something about fraud? You get every chiropractor, body shop, and lawyer on board. You make them pay a yearly fee and they join a coalition where they will get large awards when they turn someone in that leads to an arrest and conviction. Make it more profitable to be a whistle blower rather than a participant in the fraud. You create a whistle blower system where everyone is on the same page working together to end the scamming. You get undercover chiropractors, MRI reps, and undercover body shop people. You put them all to work. The problem is that there are too many people out there who are getting away with it because no one seems to do anything about it.
