    Interesting to note the authors’ occupations…the 24 hour notice is a requirement of the statute, but it seems to be a sure way in to a bad faith lawsuit…just the kind of law suit which an insurance defense attorney could bill a substantial number of hours…

    Interesting article but I don’t think the author should have used an insurance fraud example to explain this rule. The boy was drunk and lied to get medical care, there was never an accident. A simple case of hit and run would have worked fine.
