The Idaho Department of Insurance is spearheading Fraud Awareness
Week to promote anti-fraud education, raise awareness about the impact of fraud and white-collar crime on society and encourage Idahoans to report fraud to the appropriate authorities.
As part of the awareness week, Gov. Otter will sign a proclamation declaring the week Fraud Awareness Week. The Department also will host free town hall meetings throughout the state on the subjects of fraud awareness for seniors and investment fraud. The Department also will host a booth at the Western Idaho Fair.
