Preliminary estimates show the strong winds, flooding and hail that hit North Texas earlier this month caused between $15 million and $20 million in damages.
Southwestern Insurance Information Service in Austin says the figures are very preliminary.
As many as 500,000 homes and businesses lost power in North Texas during the storms June 10 and 11.
Jerry Johns said the winds were the main culprit, The Dallas Morning News reported.
